SURVEY PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED: JOINT REPLACEMENTS

Veteran fencers are invited to complete a survey about joint replacements, regardless of whether or not they’ve had one.

From Lindsay Bottoms, University of Hertfordshire:

The purpose of this study is to assess the frequency of joint replacements among veteran fencers (i.e. 39 years or older). We are interested in finding out whether joint replacements are more common in fencing than in other sports, and if so, what can be done to help reduce the likelihood of this occurring in the future.

If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. This survey will include a few demographic questions about gender and your fencing history, followed by up to 5 questions related to your joint replacements.
