SEPT 2026: WELFARE OFFICER REGISTER MOVING TO SPORT:80

The Welfare Officer Register is moving to a new Sport:80-powered system. Welfare Officers are encouraged update their existing Sport:80 records and create Welfare Officer ensuring their information appears correctly when the existing register is retired after a 30-day transition period.

BF is introducing a new Welfare Officer Register that pulls information directly from Sport:80, helping to improve accuracy and reduce delays caused by manual updates.

The new register is already available through the Sport:80 Welfare Officer directory. During the next 30 days, it will run alongside the existing register before the current system is retired.

To ensure your details transfer correctly, please review your Sport:80 account and make sure the following information is current:

  • A valid BF membership.
  • Relevant safeguarding certificates uploaded to your Sport:80 account.
  • A valid Criminal Records Check.
  • A completed Welfare Officer profile.

The new Welfare Officer and Event Welfare Officer Registers will display:

  • Your current safeguarding qualifications. Only qualifications that remain in date will be shown.
  • Any additional information that you choose to include within your profile.
