SENIOR, PARA & GB CUP 2026: ENTRY FEE SUPPORT SCHEME

Entry Fee Support Scheme now open for the Senior and Para Championships and GB Cup 2026. Application closing dates below.

BF is mindful of the rising costs of attending fencing events and the potential barrier to participation this creates for some members of our community.

The Entry Fee Support Scheme offers a limited number of free entries to BF events. Places are offered based on financial need, not on ability and covers 100% of the entry fee cost.

Applications are open for fencers competing in events taking place on 25-26th April 2026. This includes:

  • British Senior Championships
  • British Para Fencing Championships
  • GB Cup

Applications must be completed per athlete. For multiple athletes from one household, please complete separate application forms.

Applications close:

Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 5pm (first entry window Seniors – top eligible fencers)
Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 5pm (Para Champs & GB Cup)
Wednesday 25th March 2026 at 5pm (open entry)

All applicants will be told the outcome of their application by close of play on Friday 20th March (first entry window, Para & GB Cup) or Friday 27th (open entry).

Applicants will then be contacted by the BF Events Team with further information on how to enter the event.
