SAVE THE DATE: WORLD FENCING DAY 2025

Fencers around the world will celebrate World Fencing Day on Saturday 13th September 2025. Here are some ways you and your club can get involved!

The FIE 2025 World Fencing Day theme is “One Sport, One Family, One World!”. This is a great theme for BF members and gives clubs the opportunity to reach and share fencing with people and communities in their regions and share this amazing sport with the world.

BF campaign:

To celebrate the day, BF is working on a video compilation of different members of our community describing fencing in one word. To get involved, please send a short video clip in landscape to media@britishfencing.com of yourself describing fencing in one word. The deadline to send any clips is 11th September, and the video will be shared on our platforms on 13th September.

FIE resources:

The FIE has provided a resource pack to help you celebrate and engage with people to get them interested in, participate and get excited about fencing.

You can find the resource kit here: 2025 World Fencing Day Resource Pack

In this resource kit you will find the following:

  • Banners and graphics to use on all marketing platforms you may have.
  • Selfie frames you can use to create cardboard cutouts for social media.

Please share these graphics with your clubs, schools, coaches and fencers!

The FIE want you to plan events for World Fencing Day and then send them videos, photos and stories about the results.

Please send videos, images, and other materials via email to: zhen.ma@fie.ch

The FIE will share this on their social media platforms – they have a very large social media following, and this will give fencing in your area a lot of global attention!

We encourage everyone to actively engage with the FIE on social media. When publishing related content, please tag FIE social media accounts (check the handles below) and use the hashtag #WorldFencingDay2025.
