REMINDER OF WITHDRAWAL PROCESS FOR EFC AND FIE COMPETITIONS

With the 2026-27 season now underway, British Fencing are re-sharing the details of the withdrawal process for EFC and FIE competitions, full details can be found below.

Rather than withdrawing from competitions by emailing BF, if an athlete wishes to withdraw from and EFC or FIE competition that they have previously accepted their place at, they need to complete an online form to do this. This process applies to both nominated and non-nominated events.

For non-medical withdrawals, athletes are able to use this form to provide information on why they wish to withdraw, as well as seeing what fines and charges will apply to their withdrawal.

For medical withdrawals, athletes are able to use this form to provide information of why they must withdraw, as well as being able to provide medical evidence.
