MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 2026

BF is supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place between the 11th and 17th May 2026. This year’s theme is ‘action’.
Since 2001, the Mental Health Foundation has been bringing people across the UK for Mental Health Awareness Week, and promoting good mental health and wellbeing.
The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘action’, and we’re asking people to join us in taking action to support good mental health. Even small actions can help us feel hopeful and less powerless. And while our individual actions matter, when we come together we are even more powerful.
Here are some of the ways that BF members can participate in Mental Health Awareness Week:
- Organise a Wear It Green Day at your school, organisation, or with family and friends. Learn more by visiting this page.
- Click here to download resources on the Mental Health Awareness Week site to share on social media.
- Wear your green ribbon pin to show your support for good mental health for all. Order a green ribbon here.
