MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 2025
We’re proud to be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place between the 12th and 18th May 2025. This year’s theme is ‘community’.

Since 2001, the Mental Health Foundation has been bringing people across the UK for Mental Health Awareness Week, and promoting good mental health and wellbeing.
Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times, and give us a sense purpose.
Here are some of the ways that BF members can participate in Mental Health Awareness Week:
- Share what community means to you with the hashtag #ThisIsMyCommunity.
- Organise a Wear It Green Day at your school, organisation or with family and friends. Learn more by visiting this page: Mental Health Awareness Week | Wear it Green Day
- Download resources to share on social media by visiting this page: Mental Health Awareness Week | Resources
