MEDICAL SUPPORTER APPLICATIONS – BRITISH YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

Applications are now open for Medical Supporter Access at the 2026 British Youth Championships. Apply before 21st April, 5pm.

BF invites applications for Medical Supporter Access at the British Youth Championships (BYC), taking place on 2nd-4th May 2026 at EIS Sheffield. This accreditation is designed for individuals supporting fencers who may require medical assistance during the event.

Medical Supporter accreditation does not include general Field of Play access. However, accredited supporters will receive a lanyard that clearly identifies their role, enabling referees, floor teams and onsite medical staff to recognise them during any medical situation in which Field of Play access may be required.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Hold a current BF Supporter Membership. Details are available on the Supporter Membership Requirements
  • Ensure the athlete’s medical details are fully updated on the Sport:80 membership platform, available via the BF Membership Portal.
  • Be available to communicate relevant medical information to onsite medical and safeguarding personnel.
  • Be 18 years or older.

Accreditation is valid across all three days of the event.

All applications must be submitted by Tuesday 21 April 2026 at 5pm. Accreditation cannot be arranged or issued during the competition, so applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the process ahead of the deadline.

Lanyards and passes will be available for collection from the event desk upon arrival.
