IN MEMORY OF JAMES WILLIAMS - SUPPORT FOR DISADVANTAGED FENCERS

A reminder about the BF Charity’s fundraising campaign in memory of James Williams, that exists to support fencers from disadvantaged backgrounds and has raised over £15,000 to date.

On 13th May 2024, James Williams, Olympian, BF Board Member, BF Olympic Team Manager, GBR Sabre Coach and much respected member of the fencing community passed away after a short illness.

In memory, a campaign was set up in accordance with the wishes of James’s family, to raise funds to support disadvantaged fencers, a cause close to James’s heart.

The campaign has raised over £15,000 to date, and donations are still welcomed as our fencers head into the new year.
