FUN, SUPPORT & RANKING POINTS: BRITISH OPEN U14 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

The British Open U14 Championships return on the 4th-5th July 2026 at the EIS, Sheffield. Join a fun and supportive competition environment, with ranking points on offer.

This U14 event is a ranking event with a multiplier of 250. Further information on the BF Ranking Schemes can be found here.

More reasons to enter the Open U14 event:

  • A supportive environment for new fencers starting their competitive journey at all levels.
  • A safe, fun, and competitive environment for fencers to enjoy their sport.
  • Ranking points on offer: all fencers who compete in a registered domestic competition with a GBR ranking at the recognised age categories.
  • Get a chance to watch senior and wheelchair athletes compete in the same venue!

Financial Support

Typical standard entry fees for a BF event ranking event range from £60 to £90. BF is mindful of the rising costs of attending fencing events and the potential barrier to participation this creates for some members of our community.

As a result, BF offers a limited number of free entries to athletes wishing to enter the British Open U14 Championships. These will be offered based on financial need, not on ability. This scheme will cover 100% of the entry fee cost. More information on the scheme and how to apply is available here.

Entry Fee Support Scheme applications close 3rd June, 5pm.
