DONATE YOUR KIT AT CADET & JUNIOR NATIONALS 2026

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, BF is inviting all fencers and coaches to donate surplus fencing kit at the 2026 Cadet and Junior Nationals. This includes any fencing kit of any quality, so old and in need of repair is still welcome.

Several people are looking at an environmental sustainability stand, which features signage and old fencing equipment.
BF’s environmental sustainability stand featured at the 2025 British Youth Championships (BYCs).

If you have anything to donate, please bring it to the environmental sustainability stand that will be open across the Cadet and Junior Nationals, GB Cup Ranking Event and the U14 BRC A events on the weekend of the 12th and 13th September at the David Ross Sports Centre, Nottingham.

All kit will be checked and anything in need of refurbishment will go to Leon Paul.

Unsafe kit that can’t be repaired will be taken away to be recycled in some way. Kit that does not meet the current safety requirements will be disposed of, recycling anything useable where possible.

Talk to Neil Brown (neil.brown@britishfencing.com) or Clare Halsted (clarehalsted@gmail.com) for more information about our environmental plans.

We will also invite you to take any donated equipment that you can reuse or repurpose, all we ask is a donation to the BF Charity. Donations will be used to support our environmental sustainability activities.
