DONATE YOUR KIT AT CADET & JUNIOR NATIONALS

Post Updated 4th September 2025

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, BF is inviting all fencers and coaches to donate surplus fencing kit. This includes any fencing kit of any quality, so old and in need of repair is still welcome.

Several people are looking at an environmental sustainability stand, which features signage and old fencing equipment.
BF’s environmental sustainability stand featured at this year’s British Youth Championships (BYCs).

If you have anything to donate, please bring it to the environmental sustainability stand at the Cadet and Junior National Championships in Nottingham on the 13th – 14th September 2025.

All kit will be checked and anything in need of refurbishment will go to Leon Paul.

Unsafe kit that can’t be repaired will either be rejected or taken away to be recycled in some way. Kit that does not meet the current safety requirements will be disposed of, recycling anything useable where possible.

Talk to Neil Brown (neil.brown@britishfencing.com) or Clare Halsted (clarehalsted@gmail.com) for more information about our environmental plans.

We will also invite you to take any donated equipment that you can reuse or repurpose, all we ask is a donation to the British Fencing Charity. Donations will be used to support our environmental sustainability activities.
