DIGITAL BF MEMBERSHIP CARDS NOW AVAILABLE - AUGUST 2026
All BF members can now access a digital version of their membership card, making it easier to verify membership at clubs, competitions, events and training camps.
Members can now download, store and share their BF membership card in several convenient formats.
- Add your card to Google Wallet
- Add your card to Apple Wallet
- Download a PDF version and print it in a practical credit card-sized format

Every fencer is encouraged to keep a copy of their membership card available when attending a fencing club, competition, training camp or other fencing activity. Having a membership card ready helps clubs, organisers and officials quickly confirm that appropriate insurance and membership requirements are in place.
Each digital or printed card includes a unique QR code. Anyone with a device capable of scanning QR codes and an internet connection can instantly check membership status. The QR code displays current membership information for athletes, coaches and supporters.

Checking membership at clubs and events
Clubs can use the digital membership card system to confirm that members hold a valid and current BF membership. This supports club officers in meeting BF insurance requirements and carrying out routine membership checks more efficiently.

Event organisers can also use the QR code system to verify membership status before or during an event. This can help streamline registration, reduce administration and confirm that participants meet any membership requirements where applicable.
This feature can be used for:
- BF-organised events where membership verification is required
- Future BF digital check-in processes
- Independent event organisers who wish to verify the validity of a participant’s membership
- Club officers carrying out routine membership checks
