COMMUNITY DISCUSSION EVENT: BYCS Q&A 2026

A BF Community Discussion Event will take place on 14th April at 12.30pm and 6pm, aimed at parents, carers, coaches and fencers attending the BYCs for the first time in 2026.

In the latest addition to the Community Discussion series, we invite parents, carers and coaches who have fencers attending the British Youth Championships (BYCs) to a presentation and Q&A session on Tuesday 14th April at 12.30pm and 6pm.

This is the second Community Discussion on the BYCs 2026, the first having taken place last month.

The event is for those attending their first BYCs. It will cover topics such as what to expect at the event, and how you can help to best prepare your fencers ahead of the competition.

The session will cover:

  • What happens at the BYCs.
  • What you should do to prepare before the event.
  • Fencing Time Live 101 – how to read and use the competition software.
  • Information on the accreditation process.
  • Introduction of key staff attending the event.
