FENCING COACH REQUIRED: UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX

The University of Sussex is looking to recruit a Head Fencing Coach for the 2026/27 academic year. Application deadline: 30th June 2026.

The University of Sussex is looking to recruit a Fencing Head Coach to work with our vibrant fencing club for the 2026/27 academic year. This will involve working with new club members through to established fencers competing in British Universities and Colleges Sports Fencing leagues. Training times are Mondays 6-8pm and Tuesdays 8-10pm, starting September 2026 and running until March 2027. There will be the opportunity for paid coaching at fixtures on Wednesday afternoons.

  • Are you able to coach across all three weapons?

Location: University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9RB

Job type: Part-time

Salary: £24.74 to £28.21 per hour. 4-7 hrs per week. September to March annually
