CENTER PARCS AND BRITISH FENCING PARTNERSHIP RENEWAL

We’re delighted to have renewed our partnership with Center Parcs, the award-winning provider of family breaks in the UK, for another three years.

Center Parcs is an award-winning provider of family breaks and holidays in the UK. There’s something for families of all ages, from relaxing breaks to action-packed adventures. Families can enjoy the picturesque scenery, exploring the forest on foot or by cycle, and spotting local wildlife. For adventure-seekers, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise offers a wide variety of rides, slides and splash pools. Families can also experience the nature-inspired Aqua Sana Forest Spa and try delicious dishes from around the world in Center Parcs’ family-friendly restaurants.

They currently have five villages in the UK: Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire; Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire; Elveden Forest, Suffolk; Whinfell Forest, Cumbria; and Longleat Forest, Wiltshire. Families can choose from a three-night weekend break, a four-night midweek break or stay for seven nights.

Center Parcs offer a variety of lodges at their villages, each offering different features to suit a family’s needs and preferences – from classic and comfortable Woodland Lodges to spectacular Treehouses and everything in between.

Center Parcs have many exciting plans for 2025, some yet to be revealed. Families can take on the TAG Challenge Arena at Sherwood Forest, step inside a whole new dimension of gaming with the Immersive Gamebox at Woburn Forest, or get competitive at the Entertainment Hive, also at Woburn Forest.

Heather Perry, Group Leisure Operations Manager at Center Parcs, said:

“Fencing has been a Center Parcs favourite for over 30 years, and this activity gives Center Parcs families an opportunity to try something new and daring that isn’t readily available in the local community. The fencing activity is suitable for ages 10 years+, bringing families together to try out this dramatic and ancient art in a fun, safe way.

“Center Parcs’ partnership with British Fencing over the last five years has given us a professional tutor training programme and development of a select elite number of our colleagues – enabling us to deliver a first-class activity programme for our guests.”

Harry Brown, BF Head of Partnerships, added:

“BF is thrilled to continue such a valued partnership with Center Parcs and to extend this collaboration for the next three years, offering fencing to families and holiday goers as a unique experience and way of keeping active during their stay across Center Parcs’ five picturesque villages.”
