#BFLEARNINGMONTH 2026: THANK YOU

BF Learning Month took place between the 23rd July and 21st August 2026. Extended to a month for the first time, the event featured discussions from BF staff members and guest speakers on a variety of subjects. BF Learning Month also supported the first International Fencing Research Committee (IFRC) Conference.
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended this year’s BF Learning Month. The annual event was launched in 2022 as BF Learning Week, and has grown year on year. Following community feedback, this year’s event was extended from a week to a month.
BF Learning Month is an opportunity for our members and wider community to join online developmental and informative sessions about subjects from coaching to community development.
For the first time, BF Learning Month also supported the first online International Fencing Research Committee (IFRC) Conference. The IFRC welcomed leading researchers, coaches, and practitioners from around the world to explore the latest advances in fencing science and methodology.
