BF WEBSITE SECURITY - TEMPORARY VERIFICATION MEASURES IN PLACE

The BF website currently has a ‘human verification’ process in place, to review the security of user connections. Whilst anticipated to be a temporary measure, there is no set timeframe for the removal of the verification process at this time.

The BF website recently underwent a scheduled maintenance process, which included general updates and increased measures to reduce downtime, stop malicious ‘bot’ attacks and improve security.

As part of the maintenance and security updates, a human verification process is currently in place, to review user connections before proceeding to the site. Visitors may see a screen asking them to ‘verify you are human’.

This is an expected behaviour, and visitors to the site should tick the box to proceed to the website.

The screen will verify the visitor before allowing them to view the site:

At this time, although anticipated to be temporary, there is no set date for the human verification measures to be removed, as this depends largely on site performance, balanced against security. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
