ADVANCED COACHING PROGRAMME RECOGNITION

As applications for the fourth cohort of BF’s Advanced Coaching Programme (ACP) open later this month, we’re celebrating the ten coaches who most recently completed the programme.
BF’s Advanced Coaching Programme (ACP), which began in 2023, aims to support the growth of coaches through the exploration of their own coaching philosophy, reflective practice and values as well as providing an opportunity to explore performance, athlete and season planning. Other subject areas covered by the programme include skill acquisition, session design and deepening the understanding of the coach and athlete pathway philosophy and the responsibilities of the coaches within it.
The emphasis is on advanced coaching, and the programme is open to coaches from across the community.
At the British Open Championships 2025, BF presented certificates to the coaches who were present at the event.
Dusty Miller, BF Head of Performance Coaching and Coach Development, commented on the programme:
“The Advanced Coaching Programme is a cornerstone of BF’s commitment to developing world-class coaching. By equipping coaches with the knowledge, skills and support they need to thrive, we’re investing in the future of our athletes and the sport as a whole.”
