 Background Info
Istanbul is a city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. It is located in the north-west region of Turkey near the Marmara Sea. It covers a natural harbour known as the Golden Horn.

• be valid for at least 150 days from the date you arrive
• have a full blank page for entry and exit stamps
  If entering Turkey through a land border, make sure your passport has a dated entry stamp before you leave the border crossing.
