This is a demo, not British Fencing’s website. The clubs, coaches, events and results are BF’s own; the live rankings are calculated here from them, under BF’s Ranking Scheme. Member accounts are made up, and payments are in test mode.

An athlete or referee can only obtain an FIE or EFC licence through the national federation of the country in which they hold citizenship.
To apply for a GBR FIE licence, you must hold a full British passport.
Coaches may purchase a GBR FIE or EFC licence without providing proof of nationality.

You must have a valid licence before requesting entry to competitions licensed by the relevant body.

The EFC competition list is available here:
https://www.eurofencing.info.

The FIE competition list is available here:

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN FIE OR EFC LICENCE

If you manage more than one athlete under your membership, ensure you have selected the correct profile before applying.

Please note: Menu locations vary depending on device (laptop, tablet, or mobile).

PROCESSING TIME

Please apply for your international license at least one week before submitting a competition entry or coach accreditation request.

Licences normally take 2–3 working days to appear in your profile.
If your licence has not appeared after 5 working days, please contact

Important: EFC and FIE licences are non-refundable once processed. BF must pay fees directly to the EFC/FIE at the point of processing, and refunds are not provided by these organisations.
