BF Coaching Journey & Qualifications > On-Demand Coaching Courses

Costs valid until 31st March 2027.

What is it?

BF’s On-Demand Coaching Courses give clubs, regions, and organisations the flexibility to deliver recognised coaching qualifications in a way that works for their people.

Whether you’re looking to develop a group of new coaches, upskill existing members, or create a bespoke learning experience within your club, the On-Demand programme puts you in control of the schedule, venue, and delivery format whilst maintaining the quality and standards of BF coach education.

The result is accessible, flexible, and locally-delivered learning that helps more people begin or progress their coaching journey.

Based on the BF On-Demand course model, organisers can run courses at times and locations that suit their participants, with support from the Workforce Development team throughout the process.

As long as all the course content is covered, and the candidate is given the minimum number of hours of coaching per course type as they would on a BF run course, the format can vary.

Feedback received from a previous course:

“Running an On-Demand course allowed us to train a group of coaches locally, at dates that worked for our club. The flexibility, support from British Fencing, and ability to build a learning experience around our members made a huge difference.”
