The purpose of the GBR Performance Coaching Programme is to provide additional education and development opportunities to coaches that would like to support GBR squads.

Who is eligible?

Active, registered L3 coaches that have already coached athletes to represent GBR at Cadet/Junior/Senior European & World Championships

OR

Active registered L3 coaches that have competed as athletes at Senior European & World Championships within the last 10 years 

What is involved?

Coaches will be required/expected to

  • attend a minimum number of development sessions in the UK
  • be available for a minimum number of international events
  • regularly coach performance fencers
